Gary Waterhouse, co-founder and co-owner of Waterhouse Consulting has been active in government and politics in Connecticut for over twenty years.

Gary’s background features a record of consistent excellence in highly visible leadership positions, including significant experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors. More than ten years of success lobbying the Connecticut General Assembly and State Agencies. He is a highly effective advocate, leader, manager and motivator.

Gary is a graduate of the Harvard Trade Union Program. He enjoys a reputation for integrity, fairness and ability to work effectively with individuals from all parts of the political spectrum. A skilled public speaker, Gary has testified before committees of the legislature annually over the past ten years.

A successful entrepreneur and business owner of a multi-faceted family owned business that includes a gasoline service station, a country store, commercial leasing, and tenant leasing, Gary has experience with planning & zoning boards, licensing and permit issues and SBA financing.

As the Executive Director of the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees, Council 15 for 10 years, Gary successfully directed and coordinated lobbying activities at the Connecticut State Legislature creating an impressive resume of legislation supported and enacted into law and opposed and defeated. Political Action responsibilities included evaluating, endorsing and supporting candidates at the local and state level. Organizing levels of support based on congruency between a candidate’s positions and organizational objectives. Gary planned, organized and directed effective candidate fundraising activities that were in the best interests of the police officers he represented in 57 Connecticut municipalities.

Gary has served as an arbitrator on over 70 municipal interest (contract) arbitration panels and was appointed by the Labor Commissioner to serve on the neutral arbitrator selection committee.

A former Manchester police Sergeant, Gary is a Vietnam veteran (“H” Co. Ranger 75^th Infantry Airborne) and serves on the Veterans’ of Foreign War National Legislative Committee, and is the VFW State Co-Chair of the Legislative and PAC Committee.

Cynthia brings to clients an established network of relationships gained through more than twenty years in the field of Social Work and Health Care management in Connecticut. While working as a Social Work Case Manager at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford she was an active member in the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Prior to this she worked in the Long-term Care business.

Cynthia received her Certification in Continuity of Care-Advanced from the National Board of Certification.

Cynthia has comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal entitlement programs i.e.: Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security and has real world experience working with regulatory agencies.

She has an active interest in the Political/Legislative agenda in Connecticut and how it affects our most vulnerable population. Especially the elderly and children.
